    Great gift for my father

I have order this frame called Hopkins Titanium Cx1 indoor for my father who has strong deutan colorblind.

After receiving the package here in Cambodia. I have asked my dad to try on the glasses for the very first time. Now he can see green and red color better and we have tested the color blind using their website and now he gas just mild deuteranopia instead which is great. The next day he said his color vision is even better then the first day. It's really worth the money . Now my dad can enjoy painting more with accurate color choice without using his memory of color mixing to mix the paint, he now use his vision to mix the paint instead. Never seen him this happy before. Thanks Enchroma.

    Wasn’t sure.

I’ve spent years looking at these glasses. Each time it was hard to justify the cost because I didn’t know what I was missing. Wish I had done it sooner.

    This is real vision

I have followed EnChroma since they first launched and I was unable to try the glasses until recently because I have a very specific colour blindness. Then the Hopkins Titanium Cx1 Indoor DT showed up. After years of waiting I only had to wait 10 minutes before I could start to distinguish different colours. It's a little scary and emotional at first but in my first week of owning them the delay from putting them on and seeing true colours is decreasing to just a few minutes.

My spectrum is not only red-green but also blue-yellow and shadings of all colours, some colours i'm discovering. I suggest taking the test and buying the reccomended type.

    Giving the glasses more time

I have mild DT Red-Green, which has hindered me from doing things I have a passion about. I received the glasses a week ago and went around testing paintings, pictures, computer, xmas shopping, and my wardrobe with little to no improvement overall. I read some of the other post before purchasing and they mentioned giving it some time for the brain to adjust to the new visible colors.

The noticable difference on the computer editing pictures had to with a sunset picture and color grading. The glasses did provide a slight variation on colors that transition from the sun outward that I would not normally see. Same was true with a painting. Areas normally grey to white in clouds with blue sky became more visible or at least could differentiate how the colors blended together to create the illusion of sky, clouds, and light. The blue had a more distinctive transition. Same was true when xams shopping and looking at green text on a red background - the green "popped" and without the glasses was a more bland and muted green.

I gave a middle of the road rating since I haven't completed vetting the glasses out to say that they are right for my situation. I can see that they would have a greater benefit for medium to severe colorblindness.

Only thing that got me a little rattled is I took the colorblindness test online eith the glasses and the result was severely colorblind. I did it again without and was mild, then one last time and said normal color vision. I will post again…
