Atlas Cx3 Sun (Refurbished)

I purchased the Atlas Cx3 outdoor aviators for my boyfriend, who is 44 years old. He has severe Protan color blindness. When he took the vision test on the website, he saw one of the numerous images and I knew he had been living life seeing brown, grays, and very few other colors. I couldn't imagine not seeing the world in color the way we all see it.

My daughters and I took him to a beautiful garden and gifted him the new glasses. He handed me his old sun glasses and put on the new ones. All he kept saying was, “Wow.” He walked around touching things and commenting on everything he could finally see. It was a beautiful moment and I'm so happy he finally saw the world the way it was meant to be seen. He loves his new glasses and can see so much better! He keeps saying how beautiful trees are and it makes me sad to think how long he was living seeing gray and muted green things with no depth or texture.

Purchased Enchroma for my son who has a lesser degree of colour blindness so did not have the 'youtube tearful' response of others but did notice decisive and sometimes subtle changes in his view of the world. Thinking purple and blue were the same colour before Enchroma, now clearly different and the miriad of shades of blue were enriched for him. Can differentiate now between maroon and brown, bright green and yellow. Not only that he says his Atlas aviators look good! Any improvement for him would have been worth the spend so we are delighted at the results!
